Trains4Deal's IAN KILLBERY spoke up for Deal and Sandwich at this key annual meeting which this year marks the opening round if the Southeastern franchise negotiations, which will decide whoever is going to run Kent's rail services after December 2018.

Our Response to the Department for Transport consultation on the new franchise.
Trains4Deal wrote to the DfT urging that the two towns should not be sidelined in the new franchise. While the overall service from Ramsgate and Dover could be improved so that it is half-hourly there is a danger that Deal and Sandwich would be stuck with a slower hourly service with additional stops.
