Let's promote our railway line
Trains4deal supports making our line part of a new Community Rail Partnership, which will:
- set up a regular dialogue on developing services between local communities and the railway company; - get funds to promote the line and the communities and attractions along it; - lobby to improve stations - including better disabled access and car park facilities; - coordinate rail with buses and safer cycling and walking routes to stations and out into the countryside |

A Community Rail Partnership would promote our local railway lines as a great way to explore the Kent Downs AONB (click the link to find out more) - and our beautiful coast - in a sustainable way - without clogging up narrow country lanes with noisy traffic and visitors' cars.
