Let's  promote  our railway  line

Trains4deal supports making our line part of a new Community Rail Partnership, which will:
- set up a regular dialogue
 on developing services between local communities and the railway company;

- get funds to promote the line and the communities and attractions along it;
- lobby to improve stations - including better disabled access and car park facilities;
- coordinate rail with buses and safer cycling and walking routes to stations and out into the countryside

Our local rail lines could be developed to offer sustainable access to the Kent Downs AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty)
A Community Rail Partnership would promote our local railway lines as a great way to explore the Kent Downs AONB (click the link to find out more) - and our beautiful coast - in a sustainable way - without clogging up narrow country lanes with noisy traffic and visitors' cars.
Community Rail partnership map
The existing Kent Community Rail Partnership covers the Medway Valley Line and the Sheerness-Sittingbourne branch.
